Taste: Full-bodied and intense. A fusion of malty sweetness, roasted coffee, and coconut, complemented by the warm glow of rye whiskey. The finish is dominated by spicy vanilla, balanced by caramelly sweetness. This decadent dessert beer is a perfect choice both alongside and as a replacement for dessert.

BA Imperial Baltic Porter 11.5% vol

A vinous imperial Baltic porter aged in Tawny port wine casks for 22 months.

Taste: The initial taste mirrors the aroma – juicy and chocolatey. The mid-palate is roasty with malty and cocoa notes. The aftertaste features rye bread and chocolate, with a hint of fruity sweetness returning. The finish is long, leaving a pleasantly warm sensation in the mouth.

The background reveals overripe stone fruits – plums, apricots, and peaches. The aftertaste is long and silky, leaving a pleasant nutty liqueur-like sweetness on the palate.

An imperial oatmeal stout aged in Finnish rye whisky barrels and conditioned on vanilla beans. Made in collaboration with our friends from Moersleutel.

Taste: The flavor is full-bodied and incredibly rich. The slightly oily texture reveals dark chocolate, tobacco, coffee, as well as leathery and tobacco-like notes. In the background, there's a delicate hint of rye whiskey and a gentle spicy vanilla character. The aftertaste is long and pleasantly alcohol-warming.

BA Salted Caramel Strong Ale 12% vol

A rich and malty strong ale brewed with salted caramel and aged in oak barrels for 15 months.

Taste: The flavor is very rich and intense. The lush taste blends chocolate and plums with vanilla-like spiciness. While the beginning is more fruity and juicy, the aftertaste becomes more liqueur-like, with hints of nuts, raisins, and a light roastiness. The finish leaves a pleasant warmth of alcohol.

A massive ryewine aged in Finnish rye whisky barrels.

Taste: The flavor is pleasantly bittersweet. The roasty bitterness of rye bread crust is balanced with gentle sweetness of vanilla from oak barrels, a touch of chocolate, and the slightly sweet profile of rye whiskey. Hints of nuts and tobacco add depth to the background. The aftertaste is long and full-bodied, leaving a pleasant warmth from the alcohol.

Taste: The first sip explodes with a delightful mix of toasted grains, caramelized sugars and bright red berries, reminiscent of a warm homemade cherry pie. Bit by bit the character of Madeira starts to unfold and flows over the palate with notes of sun-kissed grapes, dried figs and chocolate ganache, balanced by a peppery hop bitterness and exquisite oak tannins.

A rich and vibrant imperial stout aged extensively in French whisky barrels.

Taste: An imperial stout with a velvety texture and an enticing medley of flavours, including heather blossoms, subtle notes of wildflower honey and dried dates. Opulent notes of dark chocolate, caramelised malts and mochaccino emerge, as the beer slowly comes up to room temperature.

A full-flavoured American strong ale, brewed with US hops and lovingly aged in apricot brandy barrels.

Taste: The first sips reveal a soft malt character and a distinct fruitiness with notes of poached pears and dried light stone fruits. The beer becomes more warming and comforting as it warms up, leaving a pleasant aftertaste of cracked walnuts, fig jam and baking spices that linger long after the final sip.

A rich wheatwine aged in tawny, ruby and white port wine barrels. Created in collaboration with Bavarian State Brewery Weihenstephan.

Taste: Malty and rich, with the toasted wheat flavours providing a nice foundation for the vinous barrel character. Suggestions of floral hops, bananas, warming spices and honey emerge as the beer warms.

A barrel aged imperial sour ale brewed with Norwegian cherries and Estonian apples. Created in collaboration with our friends from Lindheim.

Taste: Jammy and complex, with crisp acidity coming from the apples, followed by notes of luscious cherries and rooibos tea. The finish reveals complex minerality and a touch of vanilla from the long maturation in oak barrels.

BA Irish Coffee Imperial Stout 12% vol

An Irish Whiskey BA Imperial Stout Brewed with Coffee.

Taste: A full-flavoured beer with a silky body, which unveils a journey of smooth coffee, toasted malts and vanilla with a light dab of whiskey in the finish. As the beer warms up, the flavour profile opens up to hints of warming spices and roasted hazelnut.

BA Imperial Baltic Porter 13% vol

A bigger and bolder version of Öö brewed for its 10^th anniversary, aged in cognac barrels.

Billie’s BA 24hr Stout

BA Imperial Stout 12.5% vol

A sherry and cognac BA version of Billie’s 24hr Imperial Stout - created in collaboration with Billie’s Bier Kafétaria.

Taste: Sweet caramelised dark sugars and freshly brewed espresso meet with chocolate and toasted rye bread. Hints of rich, umami forward umeboshi plums and sun-dried raisins come through before being washed away by a balancing roasted bitterness.

Strudel Stout

BA Imperial Stout with Apple and Cinnamon 11.5% vol

An imperial stout brewed with apple and Ceylon cinnamon, aged in apple brandy and XO Cognac barrels.

Taste: Sweet jam and dark sugar slides down the tongue, with freshly sliced juicy apples joining. Winter spices, dessert wine, and calvados join in and caramelised malt rounds out the palate before a touch of speculoos biscuit splashes over the aftertaste.

Port & Oloroso BA Imperial Stout 13.5% vol

An Imperial Stout brewed with raspberry branch tea, raspberries, and liquorice — aged in Oloroso sherry and Ruby port barrels. Collab with To Øl.

Taste: Raspberry jam on a rich dark rye bread meets oaky tannins. A touch of malty chocolate plays itself in with a sweet crushed berry character following, giving way to a chewy black forest gateaux flavour.

A Vermouth and Scotch Whisky BA imperial fruit brewed with natural Estonian herbs.

Taste: Lightly toasted oak mixes with smooth sweet cherry-like vinous notes. Hints of caraway seed, wildflower and aromatic herbs come in before giving way to walnut and even a light touch of smoke. Best enjoyed when standing atop a bog firetower lookout, just after a heavy autumnal rainfall.

Drayman’s blend

BA Stoutwine 11.5% vol

Unfortunately, Drayman’s Blend was infected by hard-to-culture beer-spoilage organism called Lactobacillus acetotolerans, which is normally found in rice wine vinegar. This bacterium can enter a nonculturable state, which makes the detection troublesome for routine quality control measures. We have informed our distributors of the issue and asked to recall the product from the market.

A barrel aged Stoutwine blended from Scotch Whisky, maple syrup, and Sauternes.

Taste: A rich malt body combines with dark chocolate before being overwhelmed by sweet sherry and lashings of spicy peat smoke. Gentle notes of oak pair with caramel and dark liquorice flavours, finishing with the character of freshly pulled Italian espresso and toffee.

A stoutwine blended from maple syrup, tequila, and bourbon barrels, conditioned with Mexican and Madagascan vanilla.

Taste: Sweet toasted bourbon vanilla biscuits mixes with melted milk chocolate and hints of silky smooth marzipan. A rich toasted caramel malty body is complimented by subtle hints of pipe tobacco and agave, with yet more creamy vanilla on the aftertaste.

Taste: Staring off with rich, barrel forward notes of oak, cloves, and vanilla Château Noir then leads you down a moonlit path through your very own vin-yard plucking sweet jammy flavours of blackberry and raisins along the way, with hints of tart cherry and vinous tannins to take in as the beer warms. Collab with Tempest Brewing Co. A modern take on a traditional Scottish 160/- shilling ale, brewed with wildflower honey and aged in a blend of Glen Garioch and Auchentoshan whisky casks.

Taste: Toasted bread smeared with rich, sweet honey and marzipan esters slide across the palate. Toffee and a gentle peat smoke join the dance, with undertones of Tuscan leather lingering across the tongue. Diving deeper reveals hints of poached pears, before a final crescendo of dried fruits and warming spices.

A Rum and Bourbon barrel aged Imperial Baltic Porter brewed with coconut, vanilla, and cardamom.

Taste: Nutty, roasted pecans are chased by a monster of spice through fields of dark sugarcane and sweet red fruits. A thick, oily body with a smooth long lasting bitterness jumps out from a nearby lake of toasted coconut and sandalwood, leaving behind a trail of gently crystallised malty flavours mixing with vanilla biscuits.

An Imperial Porter brewed with heather honey, liquorice root, and blackcurrants, aged in Pedro Ximenez and Bourbon barrels.

Taste: Velvety smooth mocha and rich honey characters come through first, with a touch of black pepper and caraway layering in and balancing out the sweet toffee characters from the malt. On the finish is a long lasting freshly cut liquorice sensation followed by a pleasant acidity from the cassis and just a hint of rock salt to marry the flavours together.

Our anniversary barley wine, aged for 6 months in bourbon barrels.

Taste: Again, an avalanche of vanilla comes through, supported by a light orange marmalade. Tart cranberries, ginger schnapps, and toasted bread quickly come through, supported by a hint of alcohol and rich oak.

As Good As It Gets

Imperial Stout 17.5% vol

Collab with De Struise Brouwers. A celebratory Imperial Stout, double barrel aged for two years in Pedro Ximenez sherry barrels and Heaven Hill bourbon casks.

Taste: Leather and tobacco join up with lightly burnt toast and a topping of raisin confit, before melting into sweet toffee and vanilla sauce. A thick and chewy oak character comes through with a healthy roasted coffee bitterness and intense malt character. A beer that allows for intense contemplation over how much you, the world, and the beer itself have seen.

A bourbon BA Imperial Oatmeal stout, brewed with Maple syrup and Forest blueberries.

Taste: Milk chocolate and smooth biscuit wafers jump out followed by a touch of berries and ginger-like malt. Sweet maple syrup and freshly made French toast appears as the glass warms, whilst a pleasant touch of salted caramel lingers on the tongue.

Collab with Jester King. A Baltic Porter brewed with carmelised Estonian birch syrup and Texan soul, aged in Port Wine barrels.

Taste: Sweet sticky port wine comes through followed by a slight vanilla taste, reminiscent of toasted Juniper branches and stewed mulberries - lingering on the finish is a smooth taste of mineral rich birch syrup, as if poured over freshly made oat porridge served with a side of plum jam.

Barrel Aged Imperial Porter 11.5% vol

A Mezcal barrel aged Imperial porter brewed with Belyzian chocolate and flamed orange zest.

Taste: Chocolate comes front and centre, mixing with complex orange zest and other mixed citrus. Rich sweet malt notes come through and are then balanced out by a distinctive smokiness from the barrels, before slowly fading into the classic elegant fruity notes of exotic Mezcal mixed with new world hops. A dry finish helps this slide down easy, perfect for either sipping on the trails or sharing with your resident cocktail guru as the night goes on.

Kolumbus Krisostomus

Bourbon barrel aged Imperial Brown Ale 10.6% vol

An Imperial Brown Ale aged in ex Madeira wine and bourbon barrels.

Taste: Sweet wine soaked sultanas and chestnuts come through evoking warm winter nights then are joined by perfectly burnt toast, hints of exotic liquorice, and even a light mint character. Roasty, nutty malt characters lead with a supporting cast of dark sugars, sweet lactose, and smooth crystal malts and rich tannins come through from the wine with just a touch of alcohol. Bourbon brings warmth of the new world, whilst the old world is well represented by the ex wine in this intercontinental contemporary brown ale.

Bourbon BA Imperial Stout 12.6% vol

Collab with 京A. Bourbon BA Imperial Stout with Bourbon BA coffee from the Yunnan province of China.

Taste: Roast coffee, raisins, sweet maltiness, cinnamon baked buns, and a devilish bourbon kick in the finish. A gentle carbonation sizzles it down, making way for macadamia nuts, more vanilla and coffee, with hints of pecan on the finish. Best savoured from a cup and saucer, accompanied by freshly baked rye bread and raspberry jam whilst reading your favourite newspaper on a Monday morning.

Taste: Smooth apple and light espresso notes lead followed by just a tang of crisp green apple skin acidity. Hints of wood smoke come in - like the last embers of a long-burnt smoke sauna — before fresh and vibrant red apples return. Gentle and warming calvados spirits round out the end, before leaving more of the chocolate apple notes promised in the aroma with a creamy, ice cream like finish.

A mighty USA-hopped barley wine, aged in Armagnac and Oloroso sherry barrels.

Taste: Burnt toffee, caramelised figs, pecan nuts, with a hint of fruity, herbal hops. Sweet malts mingle elegantly with a rich sherry character, before being lifted up by a sweet and spicy flavour from Armagnac, eventually lending a slight anise character. Barrel Aged Imperial Rye Baltic Porter 12.3% vol

A rye Baltic Porter brewed to celebrate the first full century of Estonia’s independence. Barrel aged in Cognac and Bourbon barrels with oak cubes soaked in the most famous Estonian liqueur.

Taste: Sweet rum notes and chocolate roll across the tongue, with an assertive vanilla oak character. Hints of citrus hops join in, before a burst of red fruits and malt takes on the aftertaste.

Barrel Aged Imperial Gruit 12.3% vol

A traditional ale, spiced with Estonian herbs, caraway and juniper berries, aged in bourbon barrels.

Taste: Rich sweet malty notes come through, before being dashed through with the somehow citrusy taste of juniper berries drying by a fireplace. Earthy spices then appear, including long forgotten herbal aromas that are strangely familiar, as if remembering a childhood hike through nature, or the wild, gnarly, primeval end of your grandmothers herb garden.

As the beer warms, even the bitterness starts coming through as a rounded, medicinal quality rather than aggressive hops.

Finally, the gentle carbonation lifts the creamy notes from the bourbon barrels, adding a delicate smoothness to the beer.

Cowboy Breakfast

Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout 12.5% vol

Wild West campfire breakfast inspired imperial stout, brewed with chilli, black currant, and coffee, aged in Bourbon barrels.

Taste: A heavy hit of soaked bourbon and burnt coffee is balanced by rich chocolate notes from the chilli, turning into a spicy leathery pipe tobacco finish. Blackcurrant sweetness comes in on the aftertaste, whilst the campfire smoke sizzles down into the last embers of the glass - perfect to welcome in a new day after a long hard ride.

Gin Barrel Aged Imperial Gose 10.8% vol

A strong sour and salty wheat beer, brewed with selected botanicals and aged in gin barrels from Kyrö distillery.

Taste: Rich, sharp citrus-like sourness comes through, washed down by a mineral taste, reminiscent of tonic character. As you get further down the glass, a candied ginger and baked apple flavours come through, before building up to a final refreshing crescendo of juniper and spice.

A celebration of Rye in all its forms - brewed with 70% rye grain and aged in american rye whiskey barrels.

Taste: With a mouthfeel like chewing on a dark and roasted black rye bread, this manages to be both richly sweet enough to be nourishing, whilst being balanced by the peppery spice of the rye malts. With an underlying spicy molasses like body and a touch of blackcurrant like fruitiness, the barrel ageing gives an additional layer of complexity - wrapping up all the other flavours in yet more spice and smooth charred oak.

Põhjala and To Øl created this beer together to honour the old Danish heritage of Tallinn. Deep complex oatmeal stout aged for months on cognac barrels. Spiced with all the best from the liquors of Estonia.

Taste: Rich red fruits dominate the initial taste, with a powerful cherry and baked plum coming through. The acidity of a red wine is balanced with gentle oakiness and the taste of cognac, before being merged with that of a deep dark coffee and milk chocolate.

Imperial Porter 11.1% vol

A unique collab between two Porter homelands – Brew By Numbers from London and Põhjala from Tallinn – aged in Moscatel Roxo barrels.

Taste: Soft creamy red fruits - sweet and juicy strawberries coated in marzipan, stewed plums, and assertive cacao. These are followed by a dessert wine finish reminiscent of a fine Darjeeling tea.

Scotch Whisky Barrel Aged Scottish Ale 12.2% vol

Scottish Ale aged for months in Highland and Island Scotch Whisky barrels.

Taste: Immediately the tastes of the rolling Glens of the Scottish Highlands will come to mind — rich warming grains, sweet honey, pecans and a hint of alcohol. Right after will come the lapping waves on a rain-battered North sea island — the gentle smoke of a peat campfire, the smell of the sea on a cold night, exotic liquorice, and a cracked black pepper spiciness to finish up.

Barrel Aged Multigrain Breakfast Ale 11.9% vol

A big and bold dark ale, brewed with four types of grain, aged in selected barrels, and carefully blended to perfection.

Taste: Full bodied from the beginning, this very quickly slides across the tongue, lacing it with more of the same, followed by coffee, blackcurrant, assertive black bread, and a creamy sweetness from the lactose. Enjoy for breakfast served with your finest cigar.

Mutant Disco TQ

Tequila Barrel Aged White IPA 7.5% vol

A very special version of the Mutant Disco White IPA, aged for months in Tequila barrels.

Taste: Vanilla and coconut rushes onto your tongue at first taste, coming from the barrels. But then, an overload of fruit basket overtakes this: pineapple, lemon, lime, peach, lychee, and even a hint of melon. Amongst all of this a pleasing bitterness ties it together, with a freshness from the carbonation lifting the beer up and leaving you longing for another sip.

Odravein Port & Cognac BA

Barrel Aged Barley Wine 14% vol

Our anniversary barley wine, aged for nearly 12 months in Port and Cognac barrels.

Taste: Rich, sweet malts, with dates, raisins, wine-soaked figs, dried plums and ginger biscuits. Cognac and ludicrously complex grape flavours come into play very quickly, balancing out all this sweetness with intricately layered tannins from the oak coming into play. After this assault on the sense, toffee and caramelised sugar come in - like a visit to Grandma’s kitchen, with the added bonus of some alcohol to warm you on a cold spring night.

Taara Avita!

Rum Barrel Aged Stout 10.8% vol

A multi-layered stout aged in rum barrels from the island of Martinique for over 6 months. Named after the ancient Estonian war cry.

Taste: Silky smooth, sticky but not sweet. Taara Avita! starts off with the taste of pure sugarcane rum, and oaky vanilla. As the beer warms up, the flavour profile opens up too. Salty tastes from the peated malt shine through whilst the taste of fresh ginger biscuits lingers in the aftertaste.

Valge Öö PX

Pedro Ximenez Sherry Barrel Aged White Stout 11.9% vol

Sherry barrel aged limited version of Valge Öö.

Taste: Sweet dates and rich treacle mingle with coffee and raisins. A smoky, earthiness intrudes, followed by chilli spice, before being washed over by dark chocolate and yet more plums. Finally, you are left with the decadent aftertaste of sherry-soaked figs.

Odensholm BA

Pinot Noir Barrel Aged Rye Porter 9% vol

Collaboration between Põhjala and Lervig. Released only in bottles. A complex rye porter, aged in Pinot Noir barrels.

Taste: The first taste explodes on the tongue with plums and redcurrants. These linger on the back of the tongue whilst also being slowly replaced by darker fruits - the tartness of blackcurrants mingling with sharp blackberries. Sweet dark sugar is present, but only in a supporting role, rather than making the beer cloying. Finally, when the glass is empty, you are left with the rich aftertaste - a reminder of the velvety, elegant body and refined flavours of the beer and pinot noir oak in symbiosis.
